VSI Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher
VSI vertical shaft impact crusher is a new generation sand making and shaping machine with high crushing efficiency and lower cost. It has advantages of environmental protection, long lifetime and larger capacity, and can meet the gradually increased demands in sand making industry. It is widely used in crushing materials like river stone, limestone, granite, basalt and calcite.

Working principleThe main motor drives the shaft of bearing sleeve to rotate in high speed, and meanwhile the rotor rotates along with the main shaft. The material falls into the rotating rotor through the center inlet hole, and then it is injected into the crushing cavity after being accelerated by the impeller. The material hits and rubs with the material on material liner formed in the crushing cavity. The material firstly hits some materials which are falling down after being bounced back, then they are hit together to the near vortex-shape material liner (or impact block) in the vortex cavity, and after that, they are firstly bounced to the top of the crushing cavity, and then move downward and hit with the materials injected from the flow channel, forming a material curtain. Under the help of air vortex, the materials are crushed and shaped again and again, and finally the qualified finished products are discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the crusher.
It is a crusher with multiple functions, and adopts several feeding styles and diversified crushing cavities. It works in both “stone hitting stone” and “stone hitting iron” ways, and can switch quickly between these two ways, which improves its working efficiency.
